hehe.. time for the lastest news..

baby jayzon lim is born.. our dearest boi is born on 1st august.. now our whole family is born on the 1st.. yeah..

was admitted on 31st july for induction.. woke up at 5am to get readi for admission.. was given prostin tablet at 7am to induce labour at delivery suite n sent up to ward to monitor my progress b4 i will be examined by my doc at 6pm.. spent the dae watch cartoon network n HBO.. hehe.. started havin regular contractions at 5.30pm.. actually i juz felt pain.. din kn it was contractions till i was hooked uo to the ctg n it shows tt im havin contractions every 3-4mins.. surprise surprise.. doc assess my cervix n its still not dilated.. so she gave orders for mi to be send down at 6.30am cm to re-assess..

was still havin regular contractions till 9++pm when contractions died down.. managed to slp d whole nite w/o any contractions or pain.. had a sandwich n cup of milo b4 i went down to delivery suite at 6.30am..

got hooked up to ctg again.. nil contractions.. juz mild 'humps' recorded.. cerivx being examined by doc again.. was given 'laffin gas' tis time round as i get veri tensed up when she assesses my cervix.. hehe..

result: cervix not opened at all..

we were given 2 options..

1. insert another prostin tablet n wait again

2. c-section due to failed induction

explantation given n she told us tt in her experience, givin another prostin tablet may not be helpful.. most likely will end up havin to do c-section as well.. we tot abt it n decided to go for c-section.. reduce waitin time n need not afraid tt baby jayzon will go into distress..

consent taken.. operatin room prepared.. but im not mentally prepared.. argh.. was prepared initially when baby jayzon was still lyin tranverse.. but when he as 'engaged', i slowly became keen for normal delivery.. now its back to sq 1.. cried quite abit as i was veri anxious n upset.. but still hav to go thru it no matter wat..

was being sent to OT in 15mins afta doc told us abt c-section.. emotions mixed up.. started blamin myself n stuff.. was frightened as i was strapped to d table.. spinal pain relief was given n i had no sensation of my lower body.. operation took less dan 30mins.. b4 long, baby jayzon is out.. felt some tuggin when they were pushin him out.. at last.. d loud cry was heard.. baby jayzon was being suction to minimise aspirations n heated under d warmer b4 i got to c him.. he's veri adorable.. i was being stitched up n had to be in recovery area to be monitoed for abt 30mins b4 i can go up to d ward..

baby jayzon was being given to baobei to cuddle for a while when i was in recovery area.. soon afta we came up to d ward, jayzon was right beside us.. hungry n wantin to suckle.. hehe.. manage to breast fed him for 15mins.. damn hapi wif the results.. hehe.. d start of our new bond..

was stuck to the bed for the whole dae as i had a urinary catheter n iv infusion.. din feel much pain as well.. due to d effects of d spinal painkiller.. vomitted out all my breakfast too.. hehe.. pity d nurse who had to clean mi up.. total mess as it was veri sudden.. keke..

baby jayzon veri active n alert from d 2nd dae.. able to breast feed him well wif d help of d lactation nurse who's damn pro in it.. hehe.. hapi tt able to satisfy baby jayzon's feedin as milk flow is pretty good.. slept most of d time too.. =)

now our little prince is under phototherapy as he's havin jaundice.. haiz.. kinda upset by it but d more light he shines, d faster d jaundice will disperse.. so afta feedin him each time, quickly call for nurse to bring him back to d nursery for phototherapy.. like tt den can go back faster.. tmr due for discharge one.. but if baby jayzon can't go back, mayb i will extend my stay.. at least i can still let him latch on instead of being bottle-fed.. don like tt idea.. hehe..
