tiring wk i had..

was on mc for 2 daes due to fever.. den its back to work.. luckily its quite settled at work.. hehe..

went on excursion wif baobei n his company staff..its a company event - community serivce.. brought 7 children from chaoyang sch for outing.. hehe.. the children are different from others.. they hav lower iq but each possesses a special skill.. veri well-behaved in fact..

1st stop was hay dairies goat farm.. got to see how the goats were being 'milked'.. only female goats whom had given birth b4 can be 'milked' for 6mths afta they hav given birth.. someone will lead the herd n they will line up neatly to be 'milked'.. one staff will milk the goat 1st to ensure tt its milk is fresh n has no sediments.. once all checked, they will be hooked up to suckers which milk the goats.. afta tt, their teats will be sprayed wif iodine to prevent infection.. interesting process.. den we get to feed the goats wif dried haygrass sold at the counter.. so cute n fun.. hehe.. took lots of pics there.. will upload once baobei email mi the pics.. hehe.. tried chocolate goat milk as well.. don like it.. took one sip n the rest is baobei's one.. hehe.. still got the 'xing' taste.. prefer my meiji milk more.. hehe..

jurong frog farm was the next stop.. saw different stages of the frogs.. from eggs to tadpoles.. to growin of legs n eventually a frog.. hehe.. was taught how to differeniate between a male n female frog.. male frogs hav brighter color necks which is classified as 'beta looking' than female frogs n hav bigger ears too.. hehe.. the ears are located juz at the back of their eyes.. interesting rite? saw many many frogs seperated out n there were a few frogs mating as well.. hehe.. took a pic of it.. hehe.. was offered snow jelly dessert or know as xue ge as a treat.. its actually part of the frog.. i hardly eat it when mummy cooks it.. let alone at a frog farm.. hehe.. only took one small little bite from baobei's one.. hehe..

we headed to hausmann aquarium for a video n the children get to fish.. video was abt the largest fish, which i could not remember the name, on earth.. it can grow up to 5m n feeds on smaller fishes.. n can weigh up to 200kg.. the aquarium has a few of it.. now its an endangered species.. ppl used to kip it at home.. but once the fishes get too big for the tank, they juz dump them into reserviors.. which is y its no longer sold.. it can oso be found at the zoo.. hehe.. big big fish wif small fins.. hehe.. next was fishing at the children's lan gao.. they were all so excited.. the fishes were veri smart to swim out of the nets.. hehe.. everyone was sayin tt the fishes are commando trainned ones.. coz afta the children fish them. they hav to be put back into the lan gao n will be given 2 gold fishes each to bring home instead.. which mean the fishes actually are used to it.. there were quite a few tt were dead in fact.. mayb too much chasing n catching.. =X the adults were havin fun watchin them fishing.. eatin nuts n havin drinks.. hehe..

laz stop was bollywood veggies.. the owners were veri fun to be wif.. given us a history n took us for a tour at the farm b4 our lunch.. mi n baobei din follw them as they walk thru the farm.. we were more of walking along bigger spaces la.. coz i got allergic skin one.. scare go inside the 'forest' of veggies dono wat will happen.. hehe.. they grow lots of veggies n fruits.. saw bananas, papayas, watermelon (a veri mini one which is small den my little finger), guavas, corns, radishs.. got curry leaves, mint leaves, m lots of others as well.. veri enriching place in fact.. den we had our lunch.. food is not tt great but quite ok.. the serving was kinda small in fact.. its served ala carte style but no toppin up of food.. which makes it kinda not worth.. best part was tt juz beside our table was the house-fly machine.. we saw many many got bunrt wif red sparks n fpund dead at the bottom.. the sound of the elecuating was.. not pleasing.. veri loud sizzling.. there was a sudden heavy downfall n we all headed back to the bus..

grp dismissed afta we reach back the sch.. was actually suppose to go out afta the outing but all too tired so decided to head home n rest.. hehe..

baobei n mi took cabby coz i was too tired.. we were waitin at the t-junction for the light to change n head on our way when we heard a loud 'bang' n a lexus spinning the next moment.. the car was hit by a bus n apparently was headin our way.. our cab driver was like, "quickly stop the car".. the driver manage to stop the car in time n it din hit us.. baobei saw children in the car.. tt's when we headed down to check on them.. baobei's colleague n wife who were riding home came down as well.. one of the child susbstained cuts from the broken window.. the older other was well but had glass flakes on his skin.. helped child removed the glass flakes.. the younger child was clinging on to his mum.. mummy is actually a local celebrity.. n she was calm throughout the whole incident..

baobei went check on the pasenger who was sittin on the bus platform.. all passengers in the bus was unhurt.. the bus driver was checkin on their safety but he din even come down n check on the car passengers.. luckily it was a lexus it hit.. if it was a small car like nissan march, tink the car would hav flied due to the impact.. bike instructors who were takin students on lessons came to assist as well.. apparently it was the bus driver's fault.. there were oso ploice offices who happened to be at the scene at the time of incident as well.. when all was more settled, we headed for home.. had a little nap n cooked porridge for dinner.. hehe..

received news from baobei's colleague todae tt the younger child has been warded for haematuria.. mayb suffered internal injuries from the incident.. pray hards tt he will recover n get well soon.. =)
